Wendy Brown
Golf Ambassador
Wendy comes to South Shore Village Golf Course to assist our players to learn and grow with the game. She grew up in Newport near the Ocean Drive and the golf course.
Her mother was an avid golfer and went to Florida for warmer weather and encouraged her to get an interest in learning to play.
She loves her new title and is eager to pass on to others her experience and love of the game and the social aspect it offers. She has been helpful to our beginners by participating in weekly events and enjoying the camaraderie from doing so. Her interest in the game has also afforded her the opportunity to help run and manage the Amateur Golf Tour of New England for the past 4 years. She would love to move to the community in the near future and enjoy the wonderful ambience and beautiful surroundings. Her goal is to be the best golfer she can be and enjoy the game with members of the community. Wendy’s personal message. “Let’s play golf”
