Course Update – Winter Hours
Course Status: Open Daily from 10:00 AM to 4:00PM (Call the pro shop at 401-777-0107 for frost delay updates)
Carts are available until an hour and a half before Sunset
As of November 24, greens will be closed for aeration and temporary holes will be used until Spring
Driving Range: Opens at 10:00 AM

Golf Your Way
Our inviting and accessible 9-hole, par 35-course golf course accommodates beginners as well as advanced players, including a full-length professional driving range with a putting and chipping green. The golf course is designed and maintained for families as well as serious golfers who want to practice their game. Now open to the public, we encourage you to visit us and enjoy our beautiful golf course located within the woods of the surrounding community and land trust.
Take Route One South to the Shannock Road. Follow Shannock Road north to the South Shore Village entrance at 40 South Shore Village Boulevard. Enter the Village and follow the signs to the Golf Course Clubhouse at 312 South Shore Village Boulevard. Please note the speed limit at South Shore Village is 15 miles per hour!
The nine-hole layout, with its beautiful vistas accentuated by white sand bunkers, has a feature that makes it unique to almost any other design.
Not only can South Shore be played as a par-35 with five sets of tees ranging from 2,081 yards to 3,046 yards, but every one of the nine holes has a par-3 tee. The alternate par-27 course, which gives golfers a completely different experience, plays to 1,265 yards.
Course Vision
The original vision behind the creation of the South Shore Village Golf Club was to provide a beautiful golf course set in a residential community to be enjoyed by not only its residents of SSV but also the residents of The Village at Worden’s Pond. This amenity allows an opportunity to connect with the surrounding natural preserves and to enjoy the beauty of South County Rhode Island while engaging in the sport of golf. Additionally, the non-profit status of the operation benefits local charities.
